As part of its business development strategy, IDQ announces the signature of an agreement with French authentication specialist Mobilegov, which will cover both technical and commercial aspects. Mobilegov has integrated the Quantis quantum random number generator in its Digital DNA ID Box authentication server.

This partnership is part of ID Quantique's business development strategy and strengthens the two companies offers both on the technical and commercial levels.

From a technical point of view, the partnership between ID Quantique and Mobilegov relies on the integration by Mobilegov of the Quantis true random number generator inside the Digital DNA ID BOX authentication server, that was launched in October 2009, during the “Assises de la Sécurité” event, in Monaco. By generating truly random numbers, the Quantis card allows Mobilegov to better secure the transmission of the digital DNA information. Mobilegov is the first authentication solution editor that integrates Quantis. The company reaches a milestone in the level of security achieved by its authentication server. The most common strong authentication solutions using an OTP (One Time Password) generator do not provide this level of security.

Similarly, ID Quantique will integrate the Digital DNA technology in its Cerberis solution,which enables high-speed network encryption using keys secured by quantum physics.

From a commercial point of view, ID Quantique and Mobilegov will cooperate to market their solutions. Mobilegov opens its international channels to ID Quantique, which in return introduces its high-level customers, particularly in the area of high-speed network encryption for the banking markets and health services and in the area of random number generation for online gaming. ID Quantique and Mobilegov will also jointly organize events to promote their products.

Mobilegov is an IT security software editor. The company was founded in 2004. Its purpose is to provide solutions to protect sensitive data and authenticate users. These solutions are based on the Digital DNA, a technology protected by international patents which allows to identify hardware.
