The first edition of the Winter School on Practical Quantum Cryptography took place in Switzerland in January 2009.

Hands-on Training:
The program included three hands-on training sessions covering Optical Instrumentation and Photon Counting, Quantum Key Distribution with the Plug and Play platform, Ethernet encryption and network testing.
