In August IDQ’s Kelly Richdale was elected to the Innovation Council of Innosuisse, the organisation designed to promote science based innovation in Switzerland. The 20-member Innovation Council is the specialist operational body of the future Innosuisse which will start work in January 2018, taking over from the federal agency Center for Technology & Innovation (CTI).
ID Quantique CEO, Dr Grégoire Ribordy stated: “This election underlines the leading role that ID Quantique and our key team members are playing in the innovation landscape of Switzerland. We are proud that the emergence of quantum technologies and quantum information technology is being recognized on the federal level.”
The Innovation Council works alongside the Innosuisse Strategic Board which is under the leadership of CEO André Kudelski. According to Kudelski: “The Innovation Council members’ profile and experience give them an edge in responding to challenges in innovation, such as digitalisation, the protection of intellectual property or innovative business model approaches.“
