KICS 2026 Summer Conference, 17 June, Korea

We are pleased to announce that we will be speaking at the KICS 2026 Summer Conference – Quantum Special Session, taking place on June 17.

Organized by the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences (KICS) – one of Korea’s largest ICT academic societies – this conference brings together a broad community of academics, researchers, and industry professionals to explore the technologies shaping the future of communications and digital infrastructure. The program covers a wide range of forward-looking topics, including quantum technologies, agentic AI, and next-generation ICT systems, reflecting the rapid evolution toward a more connected and data-driven world.

As part of the Quantum Special Session, Sangyun Uhm (General Manager Korea) will deliver a talk titled:
“How Far Has Quantum Technology Come? Current State and Industrialization Outlook of Quantum Communication, Sensing, and Computing.”

In this session, we will provide a clear and practical perspective on how quantum technologies are transitioning from research to real-world deployment. From securing communications to enabling new sensing capabilities and advancing computing, quantum is no longer a distant concept – it is becoming a critical enabler of future infrastructure.
