QKD over 5GUK 2019, Queen’s Building, University of Bristol, 3 September 2019

UK5G is the British national innovation network dedicated to the promotion of research, collaboration and commercial application of 5G in the UK. Would you like to see an actual example of 5GUK, hosting a QKD secured network, at work? Come and meet us at the QKD over 5GUK event in the University of Bristol, UK.

On 3 September 2019, members of Quantum Engineering Technology Labs, or QETLabs, and the High Performance Network Group of Smart Internet Lab at the University of Bristol, both part of the Quantum Communications Hub, or QComms Hub, will showcase the University of Bristol’s 5GUK Test Network and its ability to host a quantum key distribution, QKD, secured network.

Using open-source software developed by researchers in the group, they will show dynamic QKD key exchange over end-to-end core, metro and access networks.

QET Labs brings together the broader quantum and related activity at the University of Bristol to maximise opportunities for new science discoveries that underpin engineering and technology development.

Come and meet us there!
