Welcome to Quantum Sensing News: The latest Quantum Sensing and Single-Photon Systems updates brought to you by ID Quantique.
In this new-look edition, we look at our highlights at SPIE Photonics West 2020; including a new product announcement and the roadmap for quantum photonics.
We then share our latest use case with you, where we explore how the Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona achieved high brightness photon-pair source characterisation and optimisation with the ID900 Time Controller.
Next, we share our latest application note: Photon correlation using state of the art equipment for precision, speed and performance.
Finally, we invite you to join us at the QTech conference. Taking place in Barcelona from 6-8 April, the event presents the latest developments in quantum technologies.
Enjoy the reading!
IDQ’s Highlights at Photonics West
After a hugely successful conference, we share our highlights of SPIE Photonics West 2020, where we exhibited earlier this month.
It was a busy event for us, where we got to unveil the new ID Qube Series of single-photon detectors designed to offer operation in both synchronous and asynchronous modes. We also look at a topic of much discussion on our booth: The roadmap for quantum photonics.
Use Case: The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO)
High brightness photon-pair source characterisation and optimisation with the ID900 Time Controller.
Read about how the Institute achieved the measurement of photon counts and coincidences at very high rates without saturation.
Photon correlation using state of the art equipment for precision, speed and performance
We look at what photon correlation is, how it can be applied and the products available to achieve precision measurements.
QTech 2020 – Barcelona, Spain – 6-8 April 2020
The QTech conference presents the latest developments of quantum technologies in the domains of communication, computation, simulation, sensors and metrology.
We’ll be there. Come and meet us on our booth, or book a meeting in advance on our website.
