Responsible Quantum Technologies in Switzerland
The momentum behind quantum technologies continues to grow. As with other new technologies, quantum technologies also bring great opportunities from a business and societal perspective. The question now is, how can we ensure that these opportunities are harnessed and directed in ways that they are useful and beneficial for society at large.
As we are in the early stages, in contrast to other technologies, such as AI, that already had unintended consequences, we can be proactive and think about ways in which to make sure quantum technologies are developed and deployed responsibly, now.
In this webinar, the team of the “Quantum Industry Day In Switzerland” discussed some of the potential socio-ethical considerations connected to quantum technologies emerging from the lab and making their way into the market.
